What is the American Corner?
The American Corner Yaffo (ACY) is located in the Arab Jewish Community Center. Yaffo (AJCC).   It is a partnership between the Public Affairs Office of the Embassy of the United States of America in Israel and the Arab Jewish Community Center.  It provides accurate and timely information about the United States to the general public of Israel.

It also provides a venue for guest U.S. speakers, meetings with American Studies and English Language teachers and Digital Video Conferences with experts in the United States. Membership is free and open to the general public.

American Corner Resources

• American literature in English,  Hebrew and Arabic

• Books, dictionaries & online library resources in three languages.

• Variety of English DVDs and videos for children and adults

• Internet access for study  and research purposes

• American periodicals and magazines for all ages

• Games, books and activities for children and youth

In Addition…
The ACY holds events such as lectures by American professionals and various workshops on art, science, history and social studies, together with enrichment activities in English for children and youth.

When are we open?
We are open Sunday - Thursday: 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
